My passion for the Chinese market began at university, where I extended my studies to specialise in Chinese language, politics, and international relations at Wenzao University in Taiwan. This foundation led me to work in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Suzhou, where I gained firsthand experience in China’s business landscape. Upon returning to the UK, I leveraged this expertise to help UK and European brands enter and succeed in the Chinese eCommerce market. During my time in Shanghai, I had the unique privilege of living with a Chinese family running a fashion business, giving me deep cultural and industry insights that continue to shape my approach to global brand strategy and market expansion.
Below is a selection of creative and marketing assets from my Chinese market projects, both from my time in-house at Samarkand Global and independently at Joy Design House. For more information on my past experience and projects, please feel free to contact me.
